Favourite Moments

Hello my lovelies!

My last post had rather a lot of attention from so many people and loads of you have been messaging me asking to hear more, so here we are!

My first year of university has been full of many perfect moments but there are certain things that have stuck with me and it's only fair to share perfect memories. Here are a few more little bits of joy for you all to have a little peek at. I apologise for there not being a whole lot of detail in a lot of these memories but I can't write every little thing as some of these things happened several months ago so are only snippets of happiness.

Photo day
The photo event itself is not the memorable part but rather what happened afterwards. A few of us decided to go along to the SU for a couple of drinks... that turned in to a lot of drinks. It really helped some of us to get to know each other and just have a real good laugh. Sure the night put me off wine for a while and I ended up without my bed to sleep in but I really don't mind it because it was such a good night.

Visits from Friends
Two of my very dear friends from my sixth form have visited me while I've been at university and both visits were so much fun. The first visit was absolutely hilarious with a blindfolded social night, lots of alcohol, film watching and down time and the second was a lovely little catch up with a night out and lots of drunken giggles.

House Parties
Some were brilliant, some were disastrous but all were memorable. In particular there was one at Halloween with everyone on the street really getting in to the theme which was fabulous, another brilliant one included a load of people I don't know and Eurovision. Again, everyone got really in to it and things got hilarious.

Blog Writing
Of course you guys are in it, I don't think this year could have been quite so brilliant if I didn't have my outlets. Yes there was the gym, coffee chats and shopping, but nothing made me feel better after a long day than getting back to my room and writing a load for my blog. There are so many posts that I've started and not yet posted and I'm so excited for what's to come as the year progresses. I hope that you'll all stick with me as I explore some different topics in the near future.

Don't forget to like, share, subscribe, follow on Google+ and feel free to leave a comment or get in touch if you'd still like to hear more.

Love you all!

A Step Back in Time

Hello my lovelies!

Firstly I should apologise for my intermittent postings, this is partly due to me not feeling the desire to write but also because of final assignments and end of year exams stressing me out to the max. I'm currently best friends with caffeine, sugar and junk food as I reach the final stages of this year and I'm pretty sure my bed has moulded to the shape of myself and multiple text books, but I thought that it's about damn time I let you guys know what's happening.

My first year at the University of Chester is practically over and it's left me thinking just how far I've come in the past year. I've had so many ups and downs and made so many new friends - some who've just passed through my life and some who've stuck around and who I hope will continue to do so - and there's just so many moments that have given me a reason to smile. I'm so incredibly proud of everything I've done so far and can't wait to move on to my second year with all of the other wonderful people in my year. I thought I'd share a few of my favourite memories from the year with you guys to give you a bit of an insight in to my uni experience so far.

Social!
Fresher's Week!
Wow, it feels like just last month I moved away from home and began to take care of myself independently. The madness of fresher's is still very fresh in my mind! During my first week my housemates and I were very social, as was the entire street and there were many nights out with everybody which was of course incredibly fun and mental. But my favourite memories from that week are the house take-out that we got and the freshers fairs (there was free food, of course that's gonna be something I remember!) because it was in those moments that I first met and made some really good friends.

Orchestral Society - I LOVE YOU GUYS
Sunday Rehearsals
I absolutely adore everyone in the Orchestral Society, they're like my family now! And this is thanks to not only our bonding sessions on drunken socials but mostly the rehearsals. 3 hours of hilarity and musical magic each week and yes, I do remember being late for one rehearsal because I'd been out the night before hence didn't actually wake up until about 5pm... 2 hours in to rehearsal! It's so lovely having something to look forward to each week that isn't based around drinking or my subject but rather a hobby that I truly enjoy. I'm just glad that they're all as crazy as me!

Sarah, Hannah & Myself
Never ending chats
These have dwindled as the year's progressed but I have fond memories of sitting in my housemate Hannah's room chatting away about nothing in particular, munching on take-out and watching films or tv shows. Whether it's just been the two of us or several members of the household, those chats helped to build a cherished friendship. Wow.. I sound soppy!

Seminar silliness!
All I'm going to say is Frank's Seminars. Those who are in them will remember the hilarity of those sessions.

There are so many more things that I could tell you about; nights out, nights in, lectures, weekly shopping trips... If you'd like to hear more then like, +1, share, comment and let me know! I'd be happy to share my experience with you all.

With the lovely Pip
If there's a topic you'd like to hear about for any of my series then feel free to let me know by getting in touch,
I absolutely love hearing from you guys! All of your emails and messages make me smile<3

I love you all huge amounts and I'd like to thank all of you who've been reading my random ramblings for these past few months. I look forward to writing so many more!
